Pulsed laser rangefinder has many advantages such as high repetition rate, longmeasuring distance, small size and light weight. So it has been widely used in military,measurement and control, exploration, construction and some other fields.At first, the theories and characters of various laser ranging technologies werediscussed in this paper. Secondly, a pulsed laser emission system was designed andachieved with laser diode. At the same time, infrared905nm laser was obtained stablyand the peak power reached70W. And then, with Avalanche diode (APD), a laserreceiving system was achieved and the photocurrent generated by the APD wasamplified without distortion with operational amplifier. Further more, a time intervalmeasuring system was designed by communication between TDC-GP21and FPGA.At last, the results of experiments were shown and analyzed. |
