In this paper, We have studied the high performance solid-state pulse laser pumpedby diode based on1%Nd:YAG laser. Our study mainly on three different aspects: Theefficiency of the upper level population, The relationship between Q-switched pulse andcalculation accuracy and the effects of the self-amplified spontaneous emission to theupper level lifetime.For the efficiency of the upper level population, the situation that the initialphotons distributed symmetrically and asymmetrically were compared on the conditionthat the pumping was inhomogeneous, and learned that the symmetrical distribution wasmore efficiency for the use of the upper level population. Then we have researched onthe Q-switched laser, mainly studied the influence on the wave of the output laser pulsethat caused by the algorithms with deference precision, know that the main factors thateffects the Q-switched pulse were the pump power, the length of the resonator and thetransmittance of the half-reflecting mirror. and studied that inhomogeneous pump canget higher out pulse power with all the factors keep constant, when compared the resultthat got in different algorithms we can find that the influences caused by the precisionof the algorithms will be more serious when we have higher pump power, shorterresonator length, higher transmittance of the half-reflecting mirror. At last weconsidered the losses of the upper level population caused by the self-amplifiedspontaneous emission, and mainly discussed the situation that the distribution of thepump was homogeneous, flattened Gaussian beam and circle symmetric Gaussian beam.learned that the life time of the upper lever population will be decrease by linearapproximation after considered the self-amplified spontaneous emission...
