Pulse laser is widely-applied to daily life and industry agriculture production because its exact distance measure, quickly answer and simple structure. In this text, we design a new type of distance-measuring pulse laser system, which is high-precision, small-work dissipation (or good-efficiency), low-cost and expediently-taken so on, by optimizing the circuit about send, accept and real time as well some emulate experiments.In this article, we researched on the development of pulsed laser range and deeply analyzed the factor of laser-transfer at diverse atmosphere circumstances , designed a Portable lower energy short-range high accuracy laser ranging system, this system based on the use of TDC-GP2.The follow questions are mostly studied:(1) The pulse photon numbers of emulate experiments are given under diverse atmosphere circumstances, object reflectivity and distance. The distance and precision of the pulse laser measure system are also discussed and analyzed.(2) Design the drive circuit of 905nm laser diode and gain a controlled pulse current with a less than 5ns raise and a pulse width of 30ns, which settle the technical difficult problem on narrow pulse and large current.(3) Using the Si-APD light detector of EG&G company, we finished a simplified scheme's design of integrate circuit by rebuilding Si-APD high pressure circuit, signal acceptor, preamplifier, high-pass filter, rectifier circuit.(4) Adopting a high-precision time difference measurement way, we finished the TDC hardware design,TDC-GP2's software and hardware control program, and the testing result show the error is a several ten ps quantity.
