Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a new technology developed in recent years, iswidely used in national defense, environmental monitoring, health care, disaster rescueand other fields. In the popularization and application of wireless sensor networks, howto communicate the premise of ensuring quality, reduce the energy consumption ofsensor nodes, reduce mortality of sensor nodes in the network and improve the workinglife of the network is a very important problem. Routing protocols are the keytechnologies of WSN to improve the energy efficiency of the whole network hasimportant significance.LEACH routing protocol core idea is to use multi-layered structure of the clusteringalgorithm, through the circulation of cluster nodes choose at random, the average sharethe energy of the whole network, so that each sensor node energy load balancing. Thispaper proves the feasibility LEACH routing protocol running on wireless sensornetworks Telosb nodes, combined with simulation further cluster heads selectionmethods and important performance parameters were analyzed. To do this do thefollowing: First,focus on the analysis of the specific mechanism system uses LEACHrouting protocol,through the analysis and comparison of several kinds of wireless sensornetwork operating system, choose the TinyOS operating system, and carries on thethorough research, but also for TinyOS operating system programming languages nesC.Second, the analysis of the wireless sensor network hardware platform Telosb nodes andconfiguration, including data processing module, wireless communication module,sensor module and power module;WSN software platform, including the TinyOSoperating system architecture, the kernel scheduling and the system implementation, with nesC programming language for wireless communication between nodes.Third, usingnesC language on TinyOS platform programming realization of LEACH routingalgorithm, establish TinyOS is described in detail the development environment and howto download the compiled program loaded on Telosb nodes, combined with furtheranalysis of the simulation method of selecting cluster heads and key performanceparameters such as the number of rounds, the node mortality etc.The work of this paper is on Telosb nodes and TinyOS operating system toimplement the LEACH routing protocol of WSN provides a paradigm, to achieve energyconservation of WSN provides certain experience.
