As a new technology,Wireless sensor network has been used in many fields and has a powerful inflence on national defense and industrial production and people's daily life. Because wireless sensor network nodes generally work in the bad environment where people cannot be reached, and the nodes will not be able to get the extra energy added once are deployed. So through researching the energy saving technology, maximum extend the battery's life and the whole network's life cycle is the point of research by scholars both at home and abroad in recent years.Based on the analysis of all kinds of routing protocol of wireless sensor network, the LEACH protoclo which is the most representative hierarchical routing protocol in practical application is choosed as the research object and the advantages and disadvantages of LEACH protocol are analyzed, after that, improvement strategies are put forward and is the starting point of this argument, and a new energy saving routing protoclo named A-LEACH(Advanced-LEACH) based on the LEACH is presented. The optimized principle of the clusters of the wireless sensor network is researched and a new strategy focusing on the cluster head elected is put forward and multi-hop between the cluster's head are established based on the binatry tree algorithm in order to send datas in the new algorithm. Theoretical studies prove that the improved algorithm realize to balance the network's load and save the network's energy consumption and effectively prolong the network's life.Finally,the paper realize the simulation of LEACH algorithm,LEACH-C algorithm,MTE algorithm and A-LEACH algorithm in network by NS2(Network Simulator,version 2) and analyzes the simulation result detailedly from four angles:the network lifetime,the number of data signals received at the base station and the energy dissipated in the network and the Network energy efficiency.The simulation shows that A-LEACH algorithm performs better than LEACH algorithm in the index of the network lifetime,the number of data signals received at the base station and the energy dissipated and the Network energy efficiency.
