Wireless sensor networks is an interdiscipline which including MEMS(Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), embedded system, wireless communication, network, distributed processing and sensor technology. It has high application values in domains of military, medical, industrial, agriculture and environmental monitoring.By using a large numbers of sensor nodes which spreaded in a certain area ,WSN could collect, process, and fuse information we interested in, and send the information to users by a self-organizing and multi-hop network, users can monitor the information and events in this area comprehensively and in time.With the development of WSN,the scale of network grown bigger and bigger, the task of collection, procession,transmission on sensor nodes also grown much more than before, the programs development and debugging became very hard, so we need mature micro Embedded Operating-System to manage the task and resource on the nodes.Embedded Operating-System of WSN is a basal core software on the nodes. It manages the distribution and callback of all software and hardware resource, schedules and corresponds concurrent tasks, offers user programming interface and platform to make programs development and debugging easily. In this way the development efficiency and software reusability have been improved.The design requirement of WSN Embedded Operating-System and some WSN OS are introduced in this paper, the typical embedded operating system TinyOS is emphatically introduced, including the models of component and communication, event driven mechanics, schedule strategy. Then this paper introduces the transplantation of TinyOS into CC1010, and amelioration performed in schedule strategy. At last this Operating-System successfully runned on the platform based on CC1010.According to the result and data of experiment, this Operating-System meets the requirements of the nodes in WSN. Achieved the goal of design.
