Database Reverse Engineering And Class Model’s Research And Its Use In Data Cleaning Project

As the fast development of high-tech industries, software system become an import partner with people during working and studying, the Guizhou Provincial Local Taxation Bureau’s tax system is one of them. According to requirements of the State Administration of Taxation, the Guizhou Provincial Local Taxation Bureau need submit the product data to it. The data must be reliable and reasonable. Because of the defects of the system and the error operator, the data in this system is inaccurate and irrational. In order to improve the quality of the data in the tax system, Guizhou Provincial Local Taxation decisions to clean the data in the tax system. However, this system’s don’t have complete document about the process of development. How to tap the information on the basis of this system and refine the cleaning rules to complete the work of data cleaning is data cleaning program’s primary problem.Database reverse engineering is one of function to analysis the database and extract the data structure. It has many tools. Because it just provided the physical structure of the database by reserve engineering tools, and it cannot provide more detail information. The class model can show the relationship between objects. This paper introduces the theoretic knowledge of the reverse engineering and the class model; and it all so compares Advantages and disadvantages of commonly used reverse engineering tools. And then, this paper starts with the really application. In order to exploit the tax system database’s information, and extract cleaning rules, the paper researches the reverse engineering and class model. The writer put the reverse engineering and the class model into data cleansing project of Guizhou Province Local Taxation Bureau. This paper get the tax system’s data structure by the reverse engineering tools, and then get the abstract model by putting the tax business and class model’s knowledge together. On the basis of this model, the writer got600rules. It helps the developer reduce time and save cost. Finally, this paper summarized the significance of these two methods.
