In modern society, the internet, which largely connected with human’s daily life,developed in a rapid speed and changed every minutes. With the spread of the smartmobile phone and some other portable media, people can login the internet platformany time any where. Some people considered that the internet space is virtual, so it ishard to find out its regulation.However, a series of internet activities which are based on the internet, whethersocial contact or E-commerce all controlled by human beings. When we study somerepeatedly phenomenon’s on the internet, as long as we combine the human activitiesregulation and the internet traits together from multiple dimensions, we still can findout its inner regulation.This thesis is based on Bakhtin’s Carnival Theory and Nietzsche’s Dionysian,and tries to analyze the new traits of internet carnival in mobile communication era,moreover finds out both its positive and negative effects, as well as somecountermeasures.The introduction includes background of the carnival phenomenon, also theprevious study of some professional researchers, at the same time, it also states thecontent and methods of research. This thesis includes four chapters:The first chapter makes some reviews of the history from ancient Greek timesto nowadays, and identifies two perspective of internet carnival phenomenon, alsoanalyzes its connotation and causes.The second chapter mainly talks about its phenomenon, also summarizes itsmacro and micro characters, which include multi-channel, post modernity, the Dionysian as well as visual interaction. In this part the encounter of Dionysian spiritand new new media express the heart and soul of the internet carnival in mobilecommunication era.The third chapter analyzes the positive effects of mobile communication era, itis considered that the Dionysian are introduced into Chinese traditional culture,which makes the Chinese culture more and more diverse, abundant and tolerant.Considering that the implosion speeds up the process of media convergence, andchanges the dissemination of Chinese culture fundamentally. Otherwise, the internetcarnival in mobile communication era plays an important role in E-commercecommunication.The fourth chapter talks about the lose of control in the internet carnival, whichmay cause some negative effects, to take the Diaoyu Island event, A NortheasternAunt Hit by A Bike event, and TongXu scandal as the main cases, tries to analyze itsnegative effects, also puts forward some suggestions.Otherwise, the conclusion is a general overview, the internet carnival is adouble-edged sword, and the netizen hold the great explosive force in the internetcarnival, as long as to strengthen the supervision and guidance, so as to make thedevelopment of network behavior positively and healthily.This thesis indicates that although at the beginning of the internet foundation,freedom is the first essential, as a matter of fact, the “Carnival” in Bakhtin’s CarnivalTheory represent freedom, too. However the real freedom is neither the disorderedfreedom, nor defame and violence, it is based on people’s moral range, not theobstacle of other’s freedom.In conclusion, the purpose of this thesis is not the only surface study on thephenomenon of internet carnival, but to establish a harmonious and orderly internet,we should arrange its law of development, and realize the true sense of networkfreedom.
