Due to the rapid development of our country’s economy in recent decades to build a large number of oil and gas pipelines, they hold the economic lifeline of the country’s energy. With the growth of these energy pipelines use of time, there must be the emergence of various unknown damage, and if you can not achieve timely detection and maintenance, will result in waste and incalculable damage to our energy transportation and economic development. Therefore, after the completion of the pipeline transportation of their monitoring, maintenance and repair work will become a priority. At present, China’s maintenance practices are usually send relevant staff to conduct field surveys and monitoring, but the energy pipelines usually have a wide distribution, spacing span, geographically isolated and harsh environments, etc., will increase the staff in the field monitoring difficult.This will combine the actual situation in the existing wireless sensor network protocol research on, CC1110radio chip architecture and SimpiliciTI agreement with TI-based production company, to develop a suitable environment based on the above linear topology wireless sensor network protocols, this protocol can satisfy the application environment for low power, low cost, automated data collection and network management requirements, and targeted in the agreement to join the clock synchronization protocol to further reduce power of physical sensor nodes.First, will explain the current status of monitoring existing energy pipelines, which proposed the existence of drawbacks, then targeted descriptions linear wireless sensor networks in this application environment to reflect the strengths and the role of research and development to further indicate the network necessity.Next will be mentioned in this article the basic protocol architecture SimpliciTI, introduced its overall framework agreement and the specific content of each layered and API function used, and for the entry function in this article linear wireless sensor network protocols do a detailed narrative.Finally, this paper designs a linear-based wireless sensor network clock synchronization protocol, with the protocol can significantly reduce network power consumption.
