The temperature data acquisition has an extremely important role in modern industry and agriculture. Traditional cable temperature acquisition systems (CTAS) use the cable method to collect data, so have the shortcomings of hard wiring, and high cost, difficult to maintain and so on, but wireless temperature acquisition systems (WTAS) utilize wireless sensor network (WSN) to collect environment temperature data, such that is able to solve those problems existing in CTAS effectively.By a in-deep analysis and comparison of several kinds of short-range wireless communication protocols commonly used in wireless sensor networks, this paper is attempts to apply the SimpliciTI network protocol to the temperature data acquisition system, and establish further a star-type wireless temperature acquisition system, including the setting up of its hardware platform and the development of the corresponding software programs.The main works completed by the author of the paper include are as follows:1. The choice of scheme.By the investigation of Wireless Sensor Network and a in-deep analysis and comparison of several kinds of short-distance wireless communication protocols. Combined with temperature acquisition system of practical application. Selected the SimpliciTI network protocol, which has the advantages of small protocol, low power consumption, easy networking and short development cycle, as the design of the network protocol.Performed a comprehensive and in depth analysis to this protocol.2. The design and implementation of the hardware.This paper used STM32F103RBT6as the microprocessor chip of a temperature acquisition node and control center node. Used CC1100module as the RF transceiver module, temperature sensor used single-bus digital temperature sensor DS18B20. And designed each part and related circuit,made a temperature acquisition node and control center node.3. The design and implementation of the software.Based chiefly on the SimpliciTI network protocol stack, According to the hardware platform, Paper has completed the design of peer to peer wireless communications program,temperature acquisition node program, control center node program and related program, to implement the network of the system, access network,data acquisition and transmission,data display and so on.4. Paper established a star type Wireless Temperature Acquisition System.Both the hardware and software design of this System, has completed, so as the system debugging.Established a star type Wireless Temperature Acquisition System which include a control center node and two temperature acquisition node. Two temperature acquisition node collect temperature by hibernates and wakes timing mechanism.send acquisition data to the control center node. After the data processing,the control center node send data to computer by serial communication.The experimental results indicate that the system is robust, and is able to collect ambient temperature accurately and effectively.
