With the rapid development of technology, data collection in the field of electronictechnology applications such as military, aerospace, and other intelligent electronic devicesoccupied an increasingly important position. Existing data collection systems are based on thetraditional wiring, let the data acquisition card directly connected to the PC, by humanoperator on the PC interface to control acquisition card. But if this way applied to a smallspace, the sky or underground mine, where the environment is not easy to operate relativelybecomes more cumbersome and difficult to operate. Then use a wireless communicationwhich can transmission relatively short distance instead of cable, use a portable hand helddevices to replace the traditional PC, has become a major trend in the data collection in thefield of data collection development.In response, the paper chosen IEEE802.11wireless communication standards, which isthe most rapid development in the current, we design a data acquisition system based on wi-fiportable controller. The hardware controller using TI’s MSP430F1612microcontroller builthardware platform for wireless network card’s control program development under SPI mode,and uses the MSP430F1612built-in ADC12acquisition conversion module construction ofacquisition test environment,make it with The Wi-Fi module consists of a collectionand transmission unit, the controller software part design select the Android system of mobilephone as the controller’s terminal design the Android application program,by the way ofSocket interactive communication to achieve the goal of wireless control data collectionprocess.The acquisition test system is capable of Wi-Fi hot spot coverage area, with handheldportable terminals as control equipment, and with Wi-Fi wireless networks for thetransmission channel, to achieve the purpose of control the data collection work, makeacquisition data offsite display and storage. This article focused on the interface design between the data acquisition device andWi-Fi module, and portable control device application design. Finally, the entire system istested. The test results show that the system transmission rate is relatively faster, transmissiondistance is relatively far away, to the basic design goals.
