With the development of science and technology, electronics, sensing, communications and computer technology is developing apace and improve existing hydrological information monitoring and control system has not kept pace with the measurement of hydrological information and statistical work great inconvenience, not to keep abreast of the hydrological information and analysis there may be dangerous to people’s personal property, production will also impact on society.This paper first discusses the background of hydrological information network monitoring and control network and technology status at home and abroad, and on this basis the system needs analysis to determine system functionality and technical specifications, followed by the overall design of the system, according to the system working principles and design goals, determine system functional architecture, and then were terminal with sensor interface and the design of the terminal and wireless transmission network interface, and finally run the test of the entire system, some typical problems during operation analysis and the correspondingsolutions.Monitoring hydrological information in this article, including environment, temperature, humidity, light intensity, and the water level. Due to the differences of the communication protocols used by the different sensors and, therefore requested to analyze the design and realization of different solutions according to the corresponding communication. Have WIFI hotspot in practical applications, in some places, the communication between the terminal and monitoring center server can use WIFI This wireless transmission, but some places do not have this condition, and on the use of3G wireless network with the servercommunication.This paper mainly researches the hydrological information monitoring and control network terminal key technologies, including processor and sensor communications processor data transmission. By the platform to collect the information collected by the various sensors and dealt with accordingly. Due to the limitations of embedded systems, the information collected can not be stored indefinitely, each time the data was successfully sent to the server, the information will be saved file is deleted from the ARM platform.
