Fengtai is a company specialized in the development, production and marketing of middle to high level dinning hall and hotel product. A great emphasis has been put since its very beginning on management improvement advance measures. The IT application in management is one of the strategic investment Fengtai’s been insisted in. Especially against the current competition pattern and characteristic in the Asia-pacific market, it’s unprecedentedly necessary to development and implements an enterprise integrated management system of a whole new generation. This thesis mainly focuses on Fengtai’s product information management system and is going to make a few elaborations on relative software designing.The thesis sets forth on the integrated marketing and production of Fengtai product information management system from a software designing and realization perspective. It’ll start by introducing the method and technique involved in the software development and then move on to a summarized elaboration on the company’s application context. The thesis also discusses the system’s demand analysis wearing users’ shoes and the foundation of software designing, respectively product basic information management function, clients’market information management function, product development management function and manufacture information function. A further exploration is going to be made on software system design, overall construction, database development and inner major processing flow and finally software realization---on major program realization and testing, with demand analysis as the background The thesis draws along the development and management of the software engineering process; discusses the system’s analysis, design and development; and summarizes the focal points in a technical sense.The software system, which has been handed over and in operation, raises magnificently Fengtai’s product management efficiency, improves the quality information and cuts down the product testing cost, especially with the ever increasing new product quantity and limited supported staff.
