Informatization and economy globalization are greatly affecting the production model and life style of human beings, as well as the living and competition environment among nations and enterprises. After joining WTO, the steel industries of China are faced with challenges in such fields as product quality, product structure, resource utilization, service method, management pattern, and market share. Therefore, in order to adapt to those challenges and driven by the global manufacturing integration and informatization, most steel enterprises begin to adopt advanced resource management ideas, use better production management models and systems, and utilize highly developed information technology to build management information platform. Through that way, the enterprises can make maximum benefits by best using their available resources, improve overall managerial efficiency and competitive power, and consequently optimize and strengthen their operation and management.Focused on the research and analysis of the theories, functions and characteristics of ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and based on their integration advantages, the thesis aimed at the manufacturing characteristics of Panggang and built a delamination function model of manufacturing and marketing integration management system. Then after comparing the plan model between MRP-II (Manufacturing Resources Planning) and JIT (Just-In-Time),bring forward the ladder system model of manufacturing project in iron and steel enterprises based in manufacture and sales unification managerial system on ERP/MES. Taking the manufacturing process of Panggang's Hot-rolling Mill as an example, the thesis built a data model of all the subsystem modules, a three-leveled structure and a system architecture frame based on the middleware TUXEDO for the manufacturing management. Then, the thesis made applied analysis and technological realization for the main production process --- DHCR (Direct Hot Charge Rolling) of hot rolling. On the basis of the realization of the subsystem of the integrated manufacturing and marketing, in the organization of production, the production management of the enterprises has changed from traditional two-stage planning into one-stage planning by the means of flow recreation and sector conformity. In the process of enterprises integration, realize consistent contract management operation flow from signing contract, manufacturing, delivering, to settling accounts, which includes consistent quality control, consistent plan-oriented control and consistent material management. After being put into test operation, and combining with the practical situation of Panggang, it has been optimized in the application process and gradually improved Panggang's production management level, and achieved the goals of increasing contract cashing rate, shortening manufacturing cycle, reducing products stock-sales ratio, and enhancing levels of resources utilization.
