Knowledge Completeness Measure Method Of Knowledge Element Network

In recent years, with the development at full speed of the knowledge economy, the core object of the knowledge management is gradually becoming knowledge-oriented, namely to provide knowledge service as its center theme. Based on the knowledge management, the fundamental goal of the knowledge service is providing knowledge service to the problems of all kind of domains by using the knowledge resources, so as to provide solutions of those problems. Relying on the knowledge element theory system, the knowledge element network could be constructed. The knowledge element network is an important tool of the knowledge management and organization, and provides an effective mean of the knowledge service. It could manage and organize the knowledge effectively from the microcosmic angle. By the reasoning of the knowledge element network, the problems could be solved. Therefore, the knowledge element network should contain all the knowledge needed by the knowledge service providing and the problem solving, which means the knowledge completeness. The research of knowledge completeness test and measure often limited to the test of the structures and organizations of the knowledge element network or knowledge system. And the methods only give solutions of the knowledge complete or not, lacking the researches of the knowledge completeness degree of the knowledge element network. Because of these, the previous studies could not satisfy the requirement of the knowledge consummation and supplement, not to mention providing reliable and high quality knowledge service to the problem solving.Aiming at the deficiency of the present studies, combined with the corresponding support relationships between the knowledge element network and the stages of the cognitive process, this paper researches the knowledge completeness from the perspective of the knowledge service characteristic of the knowledge element network which means solving the problems by the knowledge element network reasoning. Firstly, deeply analyzes the human cognitive process, elaborates the corresponding support relationships between the knowledge element network and the stages of the cognitive process and analyzes the relations between the knowledge element network and the problems. Secondly, defines the concept of the knowledge completeness of the knowledge element network and the three layers of the knowledge completeness. Finally, uses the concepts and attributes matching method, relations matching method and knowledge network reasoning driven by the problem solving to measure the three levels respectively and discusses the relations between the knowledge completeness of the three levels.A useful attempt is made in this paper to measure the knowledge completeness of the knowledge element network. First, constructing the knowledge element network based on the knowledge element theory system, then defines the three layers of the knowledge completeness according to the corresponding support relationships between the knowledge element network and the stages of the cognitive process. Second, considering the different characteristics of the three layers, this paper presents the knowledge completeness measure method. The content of the research provides a new train of thought of the knowledge completeness of the knowledge element network, and of significance for solving problems and providing high quality knowledge service.
