With the rapid development of power electronics technology, a large number of newpower electronic devices have been widely applied and these non-linear loads consume a largeamount of non-functional at the same time a large number of harmonic current injected intothe grid. The governance issues of harmonic have attracted widespread attention. Therefore,the means and methods of governance harmonic has become an important research topic in thefield of electrical engineering.One cycle control theory (OCC) developed which features the goodness of simple circuitstructure, high control precision and fast response velocity, is a large signal and nonlineartechnology, and it has been applied in many fields. This paper analyzes the research andsimulation of OCC applied in the control of active power filter(APF).This thesis first introduce the concept and basic principles of OCC and establish the APFpower level model based on OCC, and this model is deduced. The relationships are obtainedfrom this model. The OCC of single-phase APF control equations are deduced. According tothe actual work situation of the circuit, the important signalVm can be calculated, and then itadjustment process being analyzed. Methods and the selection criterion of the maincomponents parameter value and the parameters choice principle of PI controller areintroduced in this paper. It can guide the controller parameter selection.This thesis describes the design of circuit of single phase APF based on OCC, and usesPSIM6.0software for circuit simulation. This control method has been proved the correctnessand feasibility of the application of single-phase APF.Based on the above, three-phase APF based on OCC pushed export control equation,according to the form of the equation, the corresponding circuit is designed. Finally, By usingPSIM6.0simulation software for filtering, the correctness and feasibility of the above analysishas been proved.
