With the widespread use of power electronic devices, there are a large number of harmonics and reactive power come into the grid, cause a huge threat to the economy and the stability, security of the power system. Therefore, we must have a careful analysis the causes of the harmonic and its harmful affects. Exploring the comprehensive approach to curb harmonic pollution has become the focus of the study of some countries in the world. Improving the power factor has also become a major research topic of power electronic technology .In this paper, it is against harmonic suppression issues of power system ,we analyse a new type of series-parallel hybrid filter topology. This new hybrid series-parallel topology is based on the traditional topology. First, we put the active filter and the passive filters in series in the road, and then be paralleled the power grid structure, the structure has been improved. We put the parallel fundamental series resonant circuit in the coupling transformer secondary side, it can make the current not inject into the active filter and coupling transformer. At the same time, we have one-cycle control technique apply to this topology, the control idea is making the total circuit load with a unity power factor, as compared with the traditional control methods, this paper has avoide to detect the harmonic current. Control circuit structure is simple, easy to implement, has a fast response and robustness is good.This paper will apply the one-cycle control technique successfully to the new series-parallel hybrid filter for harmonic suppression. We accord to the basic principle of one-cycle control and establish a new series-parallel hybrid filter mathematical model of one-cycle control, we accord to the requirements of the site to set reasonable parameters, we can use the application-specific simulation software PSIM into power electronics simulation. Through continuous commissioning, the simulation results will verify the correctness and feasibility of the theoretical analysis. A new series-parallel hybrid filter which based on one-cycle control can be used into suppress harmonics and it can adapt to high-pressure situations very well, it is also practical significance. This paper is a new chapter in the hybrid filter based on one-cycle control ,it applies great research value.
