Automobile is one of the most important tools in modern society, tire, as thecontact site between automobiles and the earth, its quality directly affects theautomobile performance. Radial tire with high quality performance is getting moreand more recognition. Because of the domestic tire production enterprises started laterthan foreign countries, the production line is basically imported equipments anddomestic equipments mixed use, resulting in the productions of each process areindependent operation, lack of information exchange, not close to enterprisemanagement, lack of enterprise level’s data integrity monitoring, therefore, the designof the standard monitoring system of tire enterprise has a very practical significance.Based on the background of domestic radial tire production line, this papercombines with the OPC technology, database technology and PLC technology etc,researches and develops a system that has the function of field control and dataacquisition monitoring of tire monitoring, realize the monitor of production line thatunder the automatic control and enterprise management. The main contents are:1. With fully understanding and analyzing the functional requirements of tiremonitoring, this page builds the architecture of the monitoring system. This system isdivided into two hierarchies, field device control layer by field-bus and informationmonitoring layer by Ethernet. Tire manufacturing system is a large system, theapplication of industrial controllers from a number of companies, its field-buscommunication protocols are not compatible, this paper applies OPC technology tointegrate multiple field-bus control network and information monitoring network.2. Taking tire tread manufacture composite production line as example, this pageanalyzes the tread compound production process and designs the hardware design andcontrol programming, using Siemens300series PLC as industrial controls.3. Using OPC technology and KEPware for OPC servers, detailed design theOPC client based on KEPware and achieve information interaction between fielddevices and monitoring software.4. Detailed design the monitoring software modules and achieve real-timemonitoring of tire production.
