The structure of IPMC (ion-exchange polymer metal composite) is approximate with sandwich, and both sides of basilemma are plated with metal electrod. When voltage is applied through the thickness direction of basilemma, IPMC will bend towards the anode and generate actuating force. However,the low actuating force of IPMC limits the applications in more territories. Nafiion membrane is the basilemma of IPMC. Improving the performance of Nafion membrane can play a positive role in improving the IPMC’s performance. In this paper,we study the IPMC modification and requirement in actual application, of IPMC with complex shape, Based on this thesis, the Nafion membrane’s3D printing solutions is put forward for the first time.Firstly, in this paper introduces the research status of the IPMC and modified technique of IPMC at home and abroad. The feasibility of using3D printer to print the of IPMC is analyzed. And the bottleneck of realization of3D printing technology of basilemma of IPMC is pointed out.Secondly, MWCNTs (multiwalled carbon nanotube) is mixed in the Nafion solution to do modification experiments, and the MWCNTs/IPMC is got. Through experiments on the MWCNTs/IPMC sample, the correctness of MWCNTs modified scheme is validated.Then, aiming at the problems preparation of IPMC of complex shape and the difficult modification of existing materials, system block diagram of3D printer is determined. Mechanical part of3D printer is designed, and kinetic analysis is carried out with the use of Adams. Afterwards as the specialization of Nafion solution,designing the piezoelectric nozzle and simulating it with CFX.Finally, for the research of control system of3D printer, driving system of piezoelectric nozzle and stepmotor are designed, and control block diagram of piezoelectric nozzle and stepmotor are drawn.The main components of system are selected, and main control circuit of3D printer while printing is designed.
