Three-dimensional detection technology is developed with the the first appearance of coordinate measuring machine at the60s of the20th century, and now has been related to optics, electronics, control technology, new material technology, computer technology and many other technical fields. And in robot vision, automatic processing, industrial inspection, quality control, physical profile, the field of biology and medicine has broad application prospects.Virtual reality technology is developed on the basis of a cross-science and technology as computer graphics, image processing and recognition, computer simulation technology, human-machine interface technology, real-time distributed processing technology, database technology, multimedia technology, multi-sensor technology and human behavior research and other disciplines.In this paper, we show three-dimensional detection method and theory as the core, and combinning the virtual reality technology and robot teleoperation system,through remote control of mobile robots to achieve long-range detection of three-dimensional space, and spatial information transmitted to the corresponding virtual reality system to research and development.A discrete distance ultrasonic sensor to ensure the accuracy and stability, and achieve the purpose of reducing blind region.Followed by three pairs of ultrasonic sensors detect three-dimensional space, spatial information to ensure the integrity and rapid detection of space.Detection using virtual reality technology in the process of human-computer interaction and virtual reality interface for real-time three-dimensional map generation.In the detection process, the operator can control the robot physical prototype and the digital prototyping collaborative movement, and add in a virtual environment around the camera, to observe the three-dimensional environment from all angles, the purpose, which is a single video can not be achieved by monitoring the feedback effect.The main contents of this paper are: (1) Briefly describe the status of three-dimensional space and the main method of detection and the basic characteristics of virtual reality technology and applications, described the necessity and importance of the application of digital prototyping technology in the remote control system.(2) Completed the ultrasonic method for measuring the construction of three-dimensional detection system, given detection algorithm for three-dimensional space.(3) Analysis the ultrasonic distance measurement circuit,preliminary welded the ultrasonic distance measurement circuit boards.(4) Used SolidWorks software to establish the three-dimensional solid model of mobile robot, and imported into the Virtools software initially to create a virtual environment, given the digital prototype synchronous movement with the physical machine’s overall design.(5) Used Arduino programe to achieve the control of microcontroller on the mobile robot and the distance measuring circuit.(6) Derived the coordinate transformation to the physical environment, and realized real-time3d map formation in the virtual environment.(7) Through the experimental results chenecked the validity and feasibility of the above theory.
