The Design And Implementation Of Short Message Service Center Based On Cin-Scf Middleware

Since1992the world’s first short message successfully sent on the Vodafone’s GSM network in the UK, the short message service has been highly developed over the past twenty years. It has become essential to people’s lives as an important way of communicating.As the core network element to support short message service, the SMS center is changing along with the development of telecommunications technology.Communications service develops more quickly so that the rapid development of service systems is more important and more telecommunications middlewares were used in the development and deployment of service systems.3GPP R5version put forward the all-IP network, promote the signalling network changing from TDM-bearer to IP-bearer. Based on these, we propose a SMS center based on CIN-SCF middleware which can support IP-based signalling access.This paper deeply analysis the design and implementation of the Short Message Service Center based on CIN-SCF middleware, this system has the following advantages:based on telecommunications middleware with good scalability and portability; capability of IP-based signalling access; support of intercommunication between MAP short message and SMPP short message.This paper describe the related technologies of short message service centre, Sigtran and CIN-SCF middleware, then analysis the functional requirements and other requirements. The core part of the paper is the design and implementation of the short message service centre. Part in system overall design, based on the system requirements analysis, system static structural design divides the whole system to several independent functional modules; system dynamic structure describes how the various modules interact via messages to achieve the SMS center system’s function; analysis the data structures related to the SMS center system, to put forward the design of configuration files and database. Part in system detailed design and implementation, seperately analysis the detailed design and implementation of each module inside the system. Part in system testing, set up the test environment according to the design and implementation of system, perform unit testing, integration testing and system testing using the software testing methods.In practical applications, select an application case to briefly introduce the deployment structure of the SMS center system. At the end of the paper, the author summarizes the project practice during the period of master, and prospects the development of Short Message Service Center in the future.
