The Design And Engineering Practice Of Smgw Based On Ningxia Telecom CDMA Network

With the restructuring of China's telecom industry in 2008, China Telecom acquired CDMA network of China Unicom, have a business license to operate mobile services and successfully enter the field of mobile communications, China Telecom have achieved the full business operations. In order to provide users with a variety of communication and information services, to meet the needs of mobile business, In 2008, China Telecom started to build and deploy CDMA network.As one of the based business, the SMS also started its construction work.SMS is loved by the majority of users for its simple and practical, low cost and less demanding on the mobile terminal and other characteristics. SMS has become one of the most frequently used operations for the mobile phone users. In addition to extensive use of SMS point to point of mobile phone users to mobile phone users, SMS information services business which is from the information platform to mobile phone users, are also developping rapidly, the business has become a means to access to information easily and timely for a vast number of users.In the majority of service providers (SP) support, users can use SMS on demand or website customized way to get a lot of useful information, SP also access to benefits through the provision of paid information services,so both the users and SP have a large needs of SMS information service business. SMS Gateway is an important part of the SMS network, it is in the middle of SMS Center and SP, SMS Gateway provide a safe and quick access to data exchange between the SP and SMS centers,so that mobile phone users communicate with SP by the SMS in two-way, receive information services provided by SP, and completed the corresponding charging acquisition, business management, network management functions.This article first discusses the development of SMS, descripte the construction meaning of SMS Gateway, introduse the CDMA network SMS gateway system function,system structure and external interfaces based on the position of SMS gateway in the network of China Telecom's. While adhering to China Telecom mobile network planning principles, combined with real business planning needs of telecommunications in Ningxia, SMS gateway technology implementation plan of Ningxia Telecom CDMA network is elaborated in this paper, which provide guidance on the practical basis for the deployment project. Finally, the paper described the actual test of SMS Gateway of CDMA network in Ningxia, and migration cutover of SMS SP from original Unicom CDMA network to the telecommunications network messaging networkSMS based on the SP still will have a large space for growth and profit for its rich and flexible application in the future for a long time. This article discusses the design and implementation of SMS Gateway projects in Ningxia Telecom, which have the guidance and reference on deployment of SMS value-added business platform in Ningxia telecom.
