In recent years, wireless local area network’s (WLAN) development is evident to all of us. WLAN development bringssuch a great conveniencethat people use the network whenever they want everywhere. There is no doubt that all benefited from the development of wireless LAN wireless router which supports wireless LAN emergence. Wireless network applications and the range of the network usagecontinue to expand, it is not only increasingly unable to meet people’s needs, but also for the key nodes of the wireless router and network management is more challenging. Therefore, SDN network operations for us. This paper is a study on software defined network (SDN) new network architecture for the wireless router and network management research.Software Defined Network (SDN) is a network of the future which is a very promising way to achieve important development. Software Defined Network (SDN) is a new network architecture in which network control will be separated from the forward so that it can be programmed directly. This control being tightly bound to the individual network devices is connected to migrate to the computing device, which makes the underlying infrastructure for applications and it is abstract, and thus the network can be use as a logical or virtual entity. In SDN network, you can control layer of the network management application developed to facilitate the realization of wireless router managementand you also can achieve the remote configuration of the wireless router.Firstly, this paper studies the background and the significance of the subject is described, and made clear that the primary objective of the research. Withclear design goals, we study wireless network home and abroadand several typical management technologiesand programs were introduced and the purpose of detailed is summarized, and OpenNMS open source management tools are introduced which lay the foundation for the later use. And then we produce for Software Defined Network (SDN) design ideas and network architecture are described, since the topic is the study of the wireless router SDN management system based on the new network technology architecture. We present the design and implementation of wireless router management system in SDN network after the study of traditional wireless router network management and the SDN technology introduction. Then what follows are the detailed description of the design of system architecture, module design, and interface design and database design. OpenFlow wireless router management system including performance management, fault management, configuration management and database design are described. We implement the design of wireless router management systems in SDN technology architecture. After completing the introduction to the design, we design solutions for SDN wireless router management system implementation and networking were used by laboratory OpenFlow wireless router and network management to verify the feasibility of the program, focusing on test its configuration management functions.Finally, we summarize the work done by this article and give the direction of future research.
