With the rapid development of the Internet and the popularization of mobileelectronics, the society is increasingly mobile. In such a society, mobile Internet isgradually replacing the traditional Internet, and people are enjoying moreconvenience in daily life thanks to the mobile application software of the mobileelectronic products. The mobile application software is becoming more and morepopular not only among adults and youngsters, but also among pre-school children.Mobile application software of mobile electronics face higher designing requirement ifusers are younger, as they may encounter more challenges than other people.However, there’s a lack of systematic, comprehensive principles in guiding thedesigning of these mobile application software, and the quality of mobile applicationsoftware for pre-school children are uneven.Therefore, this thesis focuses on the study of mobile application software of mobileelectronics for pre-school children between3and6years old. As pre-school childrenhave their particularity both physically and psychologically, this thesis went through asystematic analysis of these aspects through literature review and field observation.The author then did a survey among potential buyers (i.e. parents of pre-schoolchildren) through questionnaire. By comparing different mobile application software ofmobile electronics for pre-school children on the market, future development trend ofthese mobile application software were also revealed. Based on these researches,the author has concluded some interaction design’s related methods and principles,and finished designing practices under the guidance of these principles. It is hopedthat this thesis may help with the development of mobile application software forpre-school children.
