| With the innovation in SaaS (Software as a Service) model, applications of SaaS are more and more extensive in enterprise information systems, e-commerce and e-government. As more and more users start using SaaS, the amount of data is also growing exponentially. However, with a simple structure, a limited amount of data processing, a low degree of personalization, a tight coupling with platform and data, poor flexibility and adaptability, traditional SaaS report system is difficult to customize complex reports and process flexible data in the current application environment. Thus, it could not provide users with high-quality and efficient data filtering service, statistical service and flexible information display service. The existing papers and open source tools haven’t provided a complete solution to the above problems.After researching related technologies on dynamic customizable report system based on SaaS, this paper proposed a TRIM framework (Dynamic Customizable Report System Framework) for SaaS report system, a component-based report system solution, and a rule-based access control model. Then this paper completed a corresponding design. Finally, this paper implemented the design on an actual SaaS platform, to verify the feasibility and performance of the report system. The primary work of the paper involved are:1) Research on modules of SaaS report system, framework and implementation strategy. The research is primarily on related papers, open source tools and frameworks. Extract and summarize the complete demand and business processes after the research.2) Investigate and design the architecture, implementation strategy and modules of SaaS report system. Finally, it formed a set of feasible design scheme including module division and general processes combined with the features of SaaS platform.3) Implemented the SaaS report system as designed on an actual SaaS platform, and finally put it into use after testing, to verify the feasibility of the report system. |
