With the rapid development of wireless network technology, the application of wireless network environment monitoring has recently become a hot area. As wireless network environment monitoring system can capture and process the sensor information, and the environmental information can be presented to the user, so the application has great significance in the field of environmental monitoring, emergency relief, aerospace and automotive remote control. Wireless MESH network because of its flexible, low power consumption and low cost, has gradually become a mainstream wireless sensor network. In recent years, the rapid development of MESH network, encountered the problem of power reducing. This paper describes the popular MESH network technology and analyze its structure, designs a high efficiency and low power consumption environmental monitoring system based on MESH network.For current wireless MESH network encountered the problem of low power consumption, I studied the sleep mode of the whole network nodes, and proposed a combination of synchronous and asynchronous dormancy mechanisms in order to to better apply to application scenarios in this subject. This paper also focused on low-power of MESH network and the acceleration sensor nodes, realized the design of a new environmental monitoring system based on the above study. I final completed the environmental monitoring system, which can achieve real-time data collection of temperature and acceleration and introduces a combination of synchronous and asynchronous dormancy mechanisms to further reduce power consumption of the entire network. This will have a great prospect in these areas, such as industrial environment monitoring, remote monitoring, and crash test vehicles and other related fields. In this system, the wireless nodes have two main functions. First, collecting and processing temperature and acceleration data. Second, the routing function, transfer the information to other nodes or gateways. Final adoption of sensor data node through route and gateway are presented in the upper interface.
