With the rapid development of Internet, people’s life become more convenient, at the same time, the traditional network architecture is more and more bloated, it leads to produce many of the problems, the energy consumption is more and more obvious, in order to fundamentally solve these problems, the Future Internet Architecture based on the principle of "clean-slate" rather than that of "patching the Internet". Scholars at home and abroad have put forward the new network architecture, while the quantity of network equipment increasing, and it makes the energy consumption increase, when the network nodes in the idle period, it’s energy consumption and energy consumption in the working period have no difference, so it’s energy efficiency is low. In order to effectively reduce the energy consumption in the future network, this paper carried out the following work:First of all, it introduces several typical future network architecture, and expounds sleeping algorithm in the corresponding framework, increased understanding of sleeping mechanism in the future network architecture. Secondly, in the introduction of sleeping algorithm, this paper mainly analyzes EACDS and MACDS algorithm of DTN, it is verified that the energy consumption decreased when energy level increased, but the delay is not be improved. The energy consumption and the delay are the target parameters in sleeping algorithm, these two parameters is a pair of contradiction, and this paper analyzes how the two parameters are calculated. Finally, in order to improve the effect of delay in the MACDS algorithm, the paper proposed the MACDS algorithm that based on statistical node detection, the original MACDS algorithm and improved MACDS are simulated, thus the conclusion is that the improved MACDS algorithm improved the delay, but improved MACDS have no improvement on the energy consumption, the theory can calculate this result. Therefor, in the actual application, according to their own business requirements, we can consider whether to the improved MACDS algorithm is applied to the network system, with a certain energy consumption for reducing the effect of time delay.
