At present, with the advancement of technology, the new technological revolution has a profound impact on the traditional telecom system,and new telecommunications service is also developing rapidly with the following features:traditional voice service with the extensive user base continued to develop and converg with other services; Internet service has a mass need of information, and games; video services have sprung up and became the largest contributor in the world’s Internet traffic growth. It is a great challenge for operators and access networks to meet the needs of high quality of service, complex types of services and huge traffic.The traditional access networks using diverse access technologies, are complicated in operation and maintenance of complex and have difficulties to guarantee the quality of service with its low efficiency and high cost because of labor management. It has been impossible for traditional access networks to satisfy the needs of future multi-service. Thus, a new access network architecture must be proposed soon to solve the above problems.With an in-depth study of full service access network requirements for network management and quality of service, a comparison between the current EPON and GPON, and an analysis and prediction of the future access network technology, this paper proposed a future access network architecture, and designed and realized its network management system. The innovation of research on the following aspects: Firstly, a new access network architecture based on10G-EPON using software-defined technology (SDAN) is proposed, with its topology and module design. Compared with traditional access network, this architecture can deploy services more conveniently, and can be managed and maintained more easily.Secondly, an intelligent load balancing scheme based services is proposed, along with application scenarios and procedure control in the giving topological. Compared with the traditional: link aggregation technology, this method can select egress port for different services with more flexibility.Finally, this research designed the network management system for10G-EPON SDAN, using OAM protocol. It is realized in embedded Linux system with C language and has passed the software and hardware tests.
