Flex technology provides more brilliant interactive interface, a variety of interactive tools and a better user experience, and a variety of multimedia resources can be more convenient, more brilliant way to demonstrate to the user, and it can be seamlessly integrated with background of Application System. Therefore, the research for network video surveillance system based on Flex has important practical significance and practical value.According to the actual needs, this paper designs and achieves the network video surveillance system based on Flex. It presents the popular Flex technology into traditional video surveillance field, achieves the combination of Flex technology and network video surveillance system, solves the problem of the lack of interoperability, interactivity and user experience for the traditional network video surveillance client, provides a better picture and more enriched, more interactive and responsive user experience for network video surveillance user, provides a new way of thinking for the future development of video surveillance system. The main work is as follows:1. Design and implementation of the network video surveillance system based on Flex, the whole system is divided into the video capture side, the server and client, and the design and implementation of client software is the core content in this article.2. Design and implementation the scheme for video transmission of the system, Including RTP packets send and receive, RTMP packets package and push, Red5forward and flex plays video stream. And the problem how to make the client of flex to receive the RTP packets of server forwarding is the biggest innovation and difficulty in this paper.3. Design and implementation of the Flex clients, including design the flex interface that more operational, interactive and user experience, implement the flex client’s functions of each module.4. Test the network video surveillance system client software based on Flex, and put forward a more practical solution to existing problems in this system.
