With intelligent, digital depth development, network video surveillance is widely used.As the use of network video server remote monitoring system to build a network videoerver, which has a traditional tape-based recorders analog output system unmatchedmulti-channel digital communication technologies, the many advantages of creating ahuge potential market for its future development prospects and far-reaching. With theadvent of the era of things, the rapid development of transmission technologyandmultimedia technology, based on various applications of these technologies isincreasingly common. Remote network video surveillance is one to be applied fullydeveloped, and gradually replace the traditional manual monitoring of security personnel,significant savings in manpower and resources, while extremely effective to improve thetechnical level of security monitoring technology.Video surveillance has experienced analog video surveillance, digital videosurveillance within the LAN, WAN and now within the digital video surveillance process.Network video monitoring system is to implement video codecs and IP networktransmission technology as the core of the monitoring equipment, streaming media servermodule is a key part of the base system applications platform.This paper introduces the development of digital video surveillance products forstreaming media server section for a more in-depth research and analysis. According to thefunctional requirements of network video surveillance system software, streaming mediaserver software architecture planning and design modules, select H.264as the videocompression algorithm to achieve the functional video capture and encoding. Developand implement data transmission and transmission control functions for application testing.The test results show that a good network environment, good sound, screen transfer andplayback quality.Significance of the paper is that environmental scenarios for different applications, toachieve a suitable under different environmental monitoring software architecture, and for the signal transmission characteristics to achieve excellent signal transmission scheme tosolve the network video security monitoring data adaptive streaming media systemtransmission problems.
