The Design And Development Of Online Learning Platform In Community Education

For the construction of learning society, the development of modern distance education, life-long education system and the development of national education system are urgently required by the country. This paper expounded the project about the design and development of online learning platform in community education focusing on the development of the community education and elderly education in Putuo district, Shanghai.With the development of modern education, we discussed the development of digital learning. On the base of understanding the concepts of Community, Community Education and Online Learning Platform in Community Education, we studied and fulfilled the feasibility of the platform construction, programming language, development environment, tools of software and testing environment. It was illustrated in detail the function analysis and the module design, system framework design, database design of the community platform. We focused on the realization of community platform, i.e., how to use C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and Visual Studio to develop and achieve the function of each module in the community platform. Finally, it was also introduced how to test the platform to run. Through the above analysis and technology applications, we developed the Online Learning platform including the modules such as site navigation, registered login, articles management, resources classification, study ranking, online learning and background management. Through testing, this platform is stable and reliable, and has the functions of the online learning platform and has better practical value and promotion value.
