Design And Implementation Of Management View Module For MO~2GO

While the computer science technology developing rapidly, more and moremanufacturing companies use software to organize the entire production process.Enterprise modeling is an abstract representation that describing processes,information and all useful objects in an enterprise. Many tools have developed insoftware to help users modeling. MO2GO tool which is developed by IPK (Institutfür Produktionsanlagen und Konstruktionstechnik) provides a means for modelingenterprise process based on IEM (integrated enterprise modelling). In the methodof IEM, two main views are proposed which are information model and businessprocess model. University of Bordeaux also put forward their own enterprisemodeling methodology called GIM (GRAI Integrated Methodology) that allowusers to build the enterprise model from a view of decision making. In modernenterprise modeling, companies are not satisfied with single modeling view andthey want to have more enterprise models to support their work in differentaspects.This paper aims to propose a new management view of IEM which combinedwith GRAI Grid to show the decision aspect information of enterprise. The newview of IEM will increase the applicability of IEM tools and also exten dMO2GO’s user group that attract more people to use it. For the purpose ofproposing the management view, a mapping method from GRAI Grid elements toIEM elements is needed and will be shown in the paper. This paper also shows awhole life cycle that developing a Java Client Application from requirement,system design to system implementation and system testing.
