With the rapid development of the wireless sensor network technology, it comesinto our visual field and the application of wireless sensor network has been paidmore and more attention to. The application of wireless sensor network makes anydevice in the real world being accessed into the Internet come true, this milestoneapplication will change our life style a lot.Because of the wireless sensor network play a more and more important role, itbrings so many experts and scholars working on this field. The wireless sensornetwork can be used on military、industry and man life and so on. The mainapplication principle is monitoring a special target, collecting data and analyzing thedata, giving out the judgment of the target and reaction related by the analysis results.When the target of wireless sensor network is the linear topologic constructionsuch as the petrol tunnel、mine shafts and highway flow, the wireless sensor networkshould be deployed in line. The linear wireless sensor network has its owncharacteristic because of its special linear topologic structure. Its routing algorithm,network energy consumption and network life term computing method are totallydifferent from the random deployed wireless sensor network.Research on the linear deployed wireless sensor network key technology such asrouting algorithm、nodes deployment、security mechanism and energy consumption.And on OPNET simulation platform, comparing the routing algorithm from this essayand the other classical one on network life term and energy consumption, proving thatthis essay’s routing algorithm perform better the classical one on the evaluation index.
