Wireless sensor networks(WSN)which is widely used in the health monitoring of large buildings, large modern equipment, aerospace and military equipment, and some other fields is an important research area in the field of engineering technology currently. The wireless sensor networks consist of a large number of sensor nodes.Because of the limitation of the power source and bandwidth of nodes, research institutions have made a deep study on WSN routing algorithm.Firstly, in this thesis the development of WSN is summarized. The system structure of WSN and characteristics of wireless sensor are analyzed. The application of WSN is introduced. The hot issues including the node localization, energy conservation strategy, routing and security have been analyzed.Secondly, the characteristics, key technology, measures of performances of routing algorithm and the classification and several typical routing algorithms are introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are also analyzed and compared. Results show that due to the limitation of sensor energy resources,routing algorithm with low power consumption and high stability should be designed for WSN.Thirdly, the energy model, the relationship between routing way and energy consumption of low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy(LEACH) are analyzed. A new routing algorithm using fisheye technology based on LEACH algorithm is designed which has made up the shortage of LEACH algorithm. The formulas of the energy consumption are deduced. The simulation of the improved routing algorithm has been completed. Assuming that 100 sensor nodes are randomly distributed in the monitoring area of 100 m × 100 m, according to the simulation results which are based on MATLAB, there comes to the conclusion that the energy consumption of the improved routing algorithm is reduced and its stability of the network is improved.Finally, through the analysis of several typical key management schemes, a new key management scheme for WSN is designed. The design process and the performance of the scheme are analyzed. The generation processes of the key,plaintext and ciphertext are realized by encryption and decryption on Microsoft Visual C++6.0.
