Radio-frequency identification(RFID) is a non-contacting automaticidentification technology.Due to the technical features and broad prospects of RFID,it has been extensively used in logistics and manufacturing industry since1990s.Compared with the traditional bar code need to be manually, RFID tag does not needto be placed on the surface of an object, can be read automatically in the case of acertain distance without placing on the surface of an object.With the rapiddevelopment and wide application of RFID, either the function and the interface ofRFID device or the upper application systems becomes various, which leads to thefailure for upper application systems to control over the bottom devices, a problemthat can be resolved by RFID middlewares. As a bridge of the whole system, RFIDmiddlewares not only incorporate the heterogeneity of the bottom devices, but alsoprovide a variety of approaches for data transmission in different upper applicationsystems.This thesis analyzes the technical features of RFID and the requirements ofquality traceability of Wulin major reducers, and then describes a set of feasibleRFID middleware based on the analysis.(1)Analyzing the problems and applicationrequirements of quality traceability of Wulin major reducers in existence, and thetechnical principles of all parts used in RFID and the development of middlewares.(2)Systematically analyzing the functions that the RFID middleware needs to achieveand realizes the design in a hierarchical way according to the different levels of thedesign(3)Realizing the function of specific module,includeing: read/write controlmodule,controlling readers through which manages the read/write device and realizesdifferent communication approaches between the read/write devices and the hostsystem, and the application of API of the read/write device,Shielding heterogeneity ofthe bottom read/write device;data processing module, which analyzes thecharacteristics of the data and proposes various methods according to different dataerrors,finding that there existing data redundancy, missing, wrong read etc.we canset the parity bit and the minimum threshold to slove the wrong reading,and use timedivision multiple access and time stamp to slove the data redundancy.Especially datamissing, which can be solved by a fixed window size smoothing algorithm, SMURFalgorithm and improved SMURF algorithm. Improved SMURF algorithm can furtherreduce the missing data further compared with other algorithms.Data push module, which proposes four different data push methods aiming at different upper applicationsystems,and comparing their respective characteristics and application scenarios.Inthe end of the thesis,based on the application environment,shows a set of RFIDmiddleware system which can operate successfully.
