With the acceleration of urbanizaton process in China and the growingcompetition in the global city, the city’s image as a city of cultural soft power, animportant part of its importance gained widespread attention of academia and society,the study of the city’s image dissemination in recent years has become one importantdirection of propagation academic research. However, the study of the current city’simage spread "multiple theories, little empirical " research status," and morestructure, less breakdown ". Various segments of the plate in the study of the city’simage dissemination is still significantly less. This article is based on a formalbackground, select the Wuhan city as a case of a partial image of the city spread-urban culture system launched a theoretical discussion and empirical research.This article first explains the specific elements, systems and environments ofurban culture, highlighting the part of the city ’s cultural elements and main features.After the Wuhan urban culture system as an example, the integration of existingrelevant information elaborated nine major manifestations, such as Wuhan urbanculture system ecological culture, history, culture, transport culture, revolutionaryculture, economy and culture, science and technology education, culture, publicculture, comprehensive showcase culture spiritual and cultural elements of urbanculture and the system. After that, selecting Wuhan three official release date for thecity promo sample, the use of statistical methods for counting operation and changesin urban culture systems analyzed the formation of Wuhan city cultural systemstheoretical framework.In this paper, with the specific twice investigation data, two chapters byempirical research on Wuhan city cultural systems empirical research started. Themain part of the third chapter forced on the results of the first survey conducteddescriptive statistics on the scope of each element, awareness, satisfaction andconsistency which were measured in order to sort out earlier in Wuhan city culturalelements classification validation. Chapter IV article uses secondary research data tocalculate specific indicators of urban culture right to re-use the system entropymethod, while the introduction of the gray comprehensive evaluation model ofsatisfaction in Wuhan city cultural systems were measured, trying to build evaluation index system of Wuhan city system satisfaction, and the formation of Wuhan citycultural system overall satisfaction scale.After a qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, I believe that thecurrent system of Wuhan city culture following major issues: First, overallsatisfaction urban culture system is better, but overall cultural system is no balance;Second, culture is distinctive, but audience awareness of different cultural elements,satisfaction is quite different; Third, the whole city in the form of culturaltransmission is single, the content is more dispersed, it is too hard to form acombined effect of enhancing the city’s cultural soft power. To solve these problems,Wuhan City, the cultural system in the future need to continue to dig optimize theurban culture, to grasp the real needs of the audience for culture, to shape the corecompetitiveness of Wuhan city cultural system in multi-information campaigns, sothat it can in the current competition among cities to maintain vitality advantage.
