In practice of our farmland environmental monitoring information management platformremote real time acquisition system, data storage and retrieval of graphic information can below efficient because of its huge size. This research studied the major techniques of remotegraphic information acquisition and storage based on web-camera in order to acquire remotegraphic information of fields and crops rapidly and efficiently. On the basis of IP camera SDKand OpenCV library, we developed a remote, automatic, high efficient system, to provideeffective techniques for real time agricultural remote analysis, making agricultural decisionsand growth assessment, etc. The chief work is as follows:(1) We constructed a remote automatic graphic data acquisition system based on Webcamera by studying the logical structure, image acquisition, storage structure of theweb-camera. Experimental study shows that in the case of interval being5~10s, the delay ofthe timing acquisition system is up to45ms, which ideally meets the requirements for thefarm environmental monitoring information management platform.(2) We built a video synthesis system based on OpenCV library, using bilinearinterpolation algorithm for image pre-processing effectively avoid the mosaic and edgeblurring phenomenon; video compression algorithm used Microsoft Video1. Experimentsshowed that the video compositing software effectively reduced the burden of the systemserver which meets the efficiency and quality requirements of video synthesizer for fieldoperation system.(3) Used a tactic of updating database through regular retrieval the server, which wasscanned and contrasted the data information of database and server every specified intervaltime automatically updating the related new data to database as well as the website system.Experiments showed that the way of servers and databases almost simultaneously uploadingdata effectively solved the problems of low storage efficiency for farmland environmentalmonitoring information management platform.(4) By adopting an intelligent retrieval algorithm based on the combination of signal or multiple keywords, we improved the efficiency of farmland environmental monitoringinformation management platform.(5) We built the fields and crops graphic information remote collection and managementsystem platform based on MVC Model and AJAX to improve response speed. Experimentsshowed that when the retrieval records are more than2000, the response time ofasynchronous processing was2s faster than that of synchronous technology.
