In this paper, after in-depth study of the existing pump monitoring and protection system, the existing pumps and pump protection system monitors the presence of low level of networking, high degree of automation ills. This paper proposes a pump and pump protection remote monitoring system combining solution. Protection through the RS485bus connection with the monitoring center, the completion of the pump remote monitoring through real-time collection pump motor operating parameters, determine the status of the pump motor, pump motor to achieve security.For the design of the pump protection devices, the paper uses a microprocessor to the pump during operation of the various parameters are sampled by the sampling procedure for computing the data, analysis and judgment to achieve the pump motor protection and monitoring functions. According to the characteristics of the pump motor, using full-wave Fourier algorithm to achieve a short-circuit protection algorithm,based on inverse time overload protection algorithms heat accumulation, over/under voltage protection algorithm, phase failure protection algorithms, bearing temperature protection algorithms, and the oil chamber leakage protection algorithm can achieve a variety of fast and reliable protection.According to the design requirements of intelligent pump monitoring and control subjects protection system, this paper conducted a hardware and software system design. Hardware circuit using ATmegal28as the master chip, designed power modules, data acquisition modules, switch input and output circuits, considering the safety of the hardware circuit requirements and take the appropriate anti-jamming measures. System software design, including AD sampling module, Fourier algorithm module, protection criterion module, relay control module and display and communications modules. Man-machine interface using delphi programming and SQL SERVER2000database software to complete the system design. Realization of user information management, real-time alarm, remote control, data communication, historical data query, historical fault inquiries, printing reports.Finally, the system experiments, experiments conducted short-circuit protection, overload inverse time experiment, experimental phase protection, overvoltage and undervoltage protection experiments, Hotbox high protection experiments, the oil chamber leak protection system design experiments to verify the reasonableness and feasibility.
