In order to solve the problem that thermometric detection can not be made by cable on some high-voltage power supply occasion, a wireless temperature sensor network system is developed. The wireless Sensor Networks synthesizes microelectronic technology, embedded technology, modern networking, wireless communication technology, distributed information processing technology and other advanced technology. It can monitor sense and collect the monitoring objects information in network coverage area in real-time, and then, the information collected will be sent through wireless manners after being processed. Finally, it will be transmitted to the monitor by self-group multi-hop network manners. As an emerging short-range, low-rate wireless network technology, ZigBee technology is a cross program between Radio Frequency Identification technology and Bluetooth technology. It has its own radio standards and achieves communication through coordinating thousands of tiny sensors.The thesis describes the development process of the wireless thermometric sensor network system based on ZigBee technology, including wireless sensor networks, system architecture, hardware design, software programming and the upper interface design. Firstly, the thesis introduces the development of wireless sensor networks, the concept of ZigBee technology, the architecture of ZigBee technology, and the fields where ZigBee can apply and research on ZigBee stack. The dissertation also summarizes several short-range wireless technology in parallel with the ZigBee technology, and explains the ZigBee technology in the advantages of wireless sensor networks by a serial of comparation. Then,the article analyzes the ZigBee stack through the specification for ZigBee technology. A set of service functions provided for the upper in ZigBee stack is illustrated after that, and the spread spectrum communication principle in high-frequency band of 2.4GHz based on CSMA-CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance mechanism) algorithm is discussed in detail.The thesis focuses on the hardware design of the wireless sensor network nodes based on ZigBee technology. The systeam nodes include the RF chip QRF-0400 controlled by SPI bus, the hardware clock chip controlled by I2C bus, and the thermometric sensors controlled by 1wire bus. The SPI bus, I2C bus, RS232 bus, and 1-wire bus are discussed within further explanation, and given full play to their strengths. The master and slave of the software workflow are also introduced. Finally, the network management software developed by Delphi language is introduced. It has alarm, display temperature data, and historical data extraction functions. The work of summary and outlook is also implemented.
