China, as the one of the oldest countries in the world,the collection of historic treasures are numerous. Ancient monuments seemed as the cultural heritage for generations of people which not only recorded the rise and fall of history,but also reflects more than five thousand years of spirits of our nation.However,with the evolution ad migration of the history,antiquities suffered kinds of erosion from the nature and robbery from the human,which caused a great economic losses to the state and also makes the development of our country’s history and cultural road of inheritance coved with hardships.Except for museum artifacts have better environment for preservation can be attentive care,immovable cultural relics thich widely scattered in the wild field has always suffered kinds of damage from natural and man-made.Currently,the immovable cultural relics in the wild field protections monitoring is achieved by semi-manual measurement. Only by these care to prevent the damage and erosion that artifacts suffered are not enough.Existing preventive monitoring tools such as video surveillance.infrared surveillance,electronic anti-intrusion fences can not play an immediate effect for criminals.More or less loopholes may let the speculators to take advantange of.Therefore,to develope a real-time online for a large wild field immovable cultural relics monitoring system seems to be very important.In this paper,according to the current status of the wild field cultural relics monitoring system,analyzed and compared with the common defense technologies of the centralized monitoring means(such as video surveillance,infrared surveillance,electronic anti-intrusion bars,etc.).Analyzing the large wild field immovable cultural relics such as the stone monument relics,due to the environmental characters anround the artifacts,propossing a Heritage Field Remote Monitoring System.Achieving a remote monitoring to the target area of the current state for cultural relics.The system general framework consists of three parts.Solar panels work with batteries to provide electricity for on-site detection terminal support.Attitude sensor tie to the stone relics base to detect the current state of cultural information,to explicite whether relics were destroyed or robbed.Placed in the field of environment testing circuit board externally tied with a wind sensor and temperature and humidity sensors are used to detect the current cultural environment values,inssure that there is no damage happened.Two detective circuit boards are connected via RS485 bus to a industrial flat and remotely transmit the information into the industrial panel to the scene.Building a VPN server platform to complete the data information exchange between the spot detection terminals and the remote PC,and in exceptional circumstances remote alarming to request the staff to go to the scene to rescue the cultural relics timely.Finally,tested the design of the software,hardware and the process of sensor data acquisition,the results of the program met to the requirement of the heritage remote monitoring,it will play an important role in the area of cultural relics protection.
