Design Of Cable TV Point-to-point Payment Reminder Management Information System For Power Supply Enterprises

Enter the21st century, the economy of our country gets rapid development, andpeople’s living standard has been greatly improved. At the same time, the power utility ofour country flourishes, and the distribution net models grow and become complex.Besides, power users have increased every year. As the level of our power informationmanagement system development and application is still in the growth stage, andtherefore the management of electricity payment reminder exposed many problems. Inthis context, how to improve the management of electric power enterprise paymentreminder, and how to service our power users better, is becoming a common problem topower enterprises.At present, there are three main ways to do the job of payment reminder for China’spower enterprises, namely, artificial payment reminder, telephone and SMS paymentreminder and direct power-off processing. The way of artificial payment reminder needsstaff to go to users’ house to inform them, and this way spend a lot of manpower andresource. The way of telephone and SMS payment reminder can meet the electricityneeds of enterprise management payment reminder to a certain extent, but if power usersreplace the mobile phone number, then the message notification cannot send to electricityusers not on time. Direct power handling is too direct and rude, and this would causeunnecessary loss power users, the impact power companies in the eyes of the people’simage.Based on the above disadvantages of traditional way of payment reminder, in thispaper, we develop the cable TV point-to-point payment reminder managementinformation system for power supply enterprises. To develop this system, we use AdobeDreamweaver as development tool, and use JavaScript as programming language, anduse Oracle as backend database system, at the same time, combine IP_DVB technologyand digital communication technologies.The system can provide both manual and automatic ways to push cable digital TVplatform payment reminder message, and can also bulk send messages to power users.Besides, support staff can choose the way of payment reminder between object carousel(OC) and the CaMail/OSD technology. The realization of the cable TV point-to-pointpayment reminder management information system for power supply enterprises greatlysimplifying the management of electric power enterprise payment reminder work,improve work efficiency. Meanwhile, the system construction investment, low cost,paperless payment reminder management, payment reminder information transfer ismore reliable, better. Effectively enhance the power enterprise payment reminder servicequality management for power users with a more high-quality service.
