With the rapid development of digital technology and IP networking technology on 21st century, penetrating Internet applications and the integration of network have developed to be an inevitable trend for the spreading of all modern media. On the other hand, broadcasting cable network companies have to suffer huge and discontinuous changes or even partly face a deadly crisis under the background of three network convergence and Internet+. All those force broadcasting cable network companies to do disruptive innovation, seek for new market, potential applications and new business model to start new business and create new value. As a result, it will partly replace or reverse the traditional method.In this paper, disruptive innovation theory has been used, based on the history and features of broadcasting cable network in China, to systematically analyze the disruptive innovation for broadcasting cable network companies with the history of foreign cable TV companies and my own experiences. At the same time, a new framework of business mode and its implementation method have been proposed in this paper. Above all, those are the reference for the future strategic transformation and upgrading of broadcasting cable network.At the very beginning, an introduction has been put forward. It starts with the description and analysis of the background. Then, the concept of this paper and its purpose and meaning have been pointed out. At last, main analysis method, framework and main content of the paper stand out.On the second stage,it is a brief summary of the cable network industry and the reference about the disruptive innovation and business model. Through the domestic history of broadcasting cable network industry and its related definition of the theory and features, the paper has clearly introduced what is broadcasting cable network industry or media and its contemporary business model. On the other hand, disruptive innovation and business model innovation are proposed based on the its features and current market environment.On the third stage, it talks about the domestic history and features of broadcasting cable network industry, at the same time, it has introduced the whole history and its contemporary challenge for broadcasting cable network industry based on the features of the industry and its chain.On the next stage, it has briefly explained the incentive and inevitability of disruptive innovation for domestic broadcasting cable network industry and separates it into three parts:1.influence of technology innovation; 2.influence of policy system; 3.change of market competition.On the final stage, it has talked about the whole framework of business model for broadcasting cable network companies including development for new customer’s value proposition, establishment for activity network(resource, cooperation, product, service) and the design of profit model. On the other hand, in practical application, the paper has analyzed my own experiences of JSCN and concluded its whole disruptive business framework and implementation strategy hoping to provide some clues for that filed.According to the theory of business administration, this paper has presented a theoretical and practical solution to deal with the contemporary problem for broadcasting cable network industry.
