This paper includes two parts, one is about the data broadcasting system based on broadband IP network , and the other is about data-broadcasting system based on HFC network.First, this paper achieved a digital video&audio system based on broadband IP network. In this part, combined the advanced streaming media technology the writer finished a digital video&audio broadcasting system within LAN (Local Area Network) over B/S model, the system can realized such functions as following.Through the server homepage, the client explorer can require services of system broadcasting or VOD(Video On Demand) ; If the client ID is right, the server respond the client requirement, and assign the result to the client explorer page with video or audio streaming files through searching local database. In side of server, the administrator can control the number of users and the access right, and can analyze what the user do.In the second part of the paper, the writer built a two-way HFC network. This system can realize a high-speed access Internet through a Cable Modem(CM). The CM system choose the DOCSIS 1.1 specifications of Multimedia Cable Network system (MCNS), which uses modulation method with 64-QAM as downstream, and QPSK as upstream. When used by single user, the system can provide two-way and interactive function of the data rate to 27Mbit/s for downstream and 1.28Mbit/s for upstream. In addition, the system can realize some integrated services, such as digital TV Set Top Box(STB) and Near Video On Demand(NVOD). |
