:There are many difficulties in management of college students. It is especially difficult to make fully and timely, objective, quantitative evaluation of students’ performance, class atmosphere and school ethos. Inadequate communication and miscommunication among staffs make the situation worse. To solve these problems and improve the management, the Delphi method, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and some other relative methods are applied. A set of evaluation index are designed and a "multi-source feedback evaluation model is built. The relationship among students, faculties and school leaders in college students management are analogized with the one among customers, sales people and the boss using cash registers. Under the inspiration of cash registers and the guidance of the model, a management information system for comprehensive evaluation of the college students is designed and developed to implement a mutual restraint mechanism.Currently, the multi-source feedback evaluation model has been initially completed and the management information system for comprehensive evaluation of the college students has also been put into operation. Comprehensive, timely, objective, quantifiable evaluation of college students is made by the system. The functions of evaluation, such as guiding, monitoring, diagnosis, motivation and development are made full use of. The student evaluation indicators have improved to varying degrees.The model and the system produced in this paper reflects the direction of today’s students evaluation, management automation, and information technology development. The application of the system implements the "education by all staff" concept of education management, and improves the faculty efficiency. School management is improved. A comprehensive understanding of the students’ learning process is gained. The system is a technical support and security to motivate student learning and improve the teaching and management of college students.
