With the wide application of Internet technology, trend of various services are IP-based. In order to achieve broadband IP services flexible dispatching, providing flexible network protection and recovery mechanisms, transmission network is not only to provide high-capacity bandwidth to meet the demand for broadband services, but also provide the full functional operations and management capabilities. OTN equipment combines the advantages of SDH and WDM, having powerful operations and management capabilities, flexible dispatching and protection of large capacity service to solve the problem that SDH equipment can’t handle large capacity service. Furthermore, OTN can also provide large-capacity bandwidth transmission. In the future, OTN equipment will introduce a higher rate interface,100G OTN have been commercial deployed currently. Besides, China Mobile has been conducting400G OTN equipment testing.400G standard has not been formulated yet, there are a variety of technology options. In the future,400G OTN will be standardized.With the massive deployment of OTN equipment, OTN with other networks’ joint networking are becoming increasingly important. OTN and SDH/WDM joint networking, OTN and IP bearer joint networking as well as multi-manufacturer interconnection become a focus of research. Jiont networking of OTN and the existing transmission network such as SDH、IP network can optimize the network structure and improve network bandwidth utilization. The main contents and results are as follows:Major issues and key technologies of different manufacturers’ OTN and SDH equipment service interconnection are researched. Test environment based on service interconnection problems is built in the lab and the service interconnection solutions are put forward by analyzing the testing data. According to remoulding demands of railway backbone optical transmission network’s smooth upgrade, three OTN and SDH network architecture are raised and the testing environment is built in the lab. Solutions are put forward according to the different remoulding network environment by analyzing the testing data. The problems and shortcomings of the current railway synchronization clock network are analyzed and researched. Corresponding1588V2networking solutions are given by analyzing the same and different manufacturers of OTN and SDH equipment1588V2clock networking. Corresponding testing environment is built to study the main problems of OTN and router’s service interconnection.The solutions of service interconnection are put forward. In the part of OTN and router protection coordination and joint networking, testing environment is built according to the problems of OTN and router’s end to end OAM prcessing and the protection coordination.The solutions are given by analyzing and studying the testing data.
