With the exploded demand of content in the Internet,the acquisition of a large amount of content such as live video is limited in the existing peer-to-peer model of the computer network at present,which poses the problems of low transmission efficiency and wasting of resources.In order to adapt for the changing user's demand of content,the academias have proposed the information centric networking.In this new architecture of information centric networking,the communication mode turns traditional host-to-host into host-to-network.The user of information centric networking only need to care about the content itself,the network architecture will complete the content transmission routing and other functions.The core concept in the information centric networking is to use the content cache of each routing node in the network,to avoid massive content request of the content source server.The problem of where and which to cache is to be resolved,in the condition of routing node rare cache capacity,compared with the massive content resources.Research on the placement of network content cache in information centric networking is of great significance.The rationality of content placement will directly determine the performance of networking caching system.With the optimized placement strategy,information centric networking can the significantly reduce average network load,the network operating cost,and improve user experience.In addition,the idea of intranet caching has good application prospects in various networks.The research directions of service centric networkings,cloud networks and future mobile networks are all exploring the idea of intranet caching.Therefore,Caching technology in the central network has universal significance.This article analyzes the architecture and key technologies in the information centric networking,and summarizes various existing caching strategies.We compared the advantages and disadvantages of various caching strategies in terms of caching basis,decision timing,and cache redundancy.Subsequently,we proposed two cache decision strategies.Based on the hit rate of route node,the edge-first collaborative caching strategy can effectively reduce the number of cache hops,under the premise of significantly reducing the number of cache substitutions.Compared with the former caching strategy,the caching strategy based on the node center degree and node state can reasonably utilize the caching diffusion effect of the core node,significantly reducing the load of the content source server and improving the performance of the caching system.
