Nowadays, with the rapid development of modern society, people are increasinglydemanding high quality of life, according to incomplete statistics, China is the world’stop automotive consumer, and the growth trend continues to rise, so there have beensome problems, such as road congestion, lack of parking spaces, car theft and otherissues, especially the residents of unlawful appropriation of residential parking spaces,residents contradictory phenomenon is more prominent, in order to solve the residentialarea, consider vehicle safety personnel access, intelligent residential access controlsystem is particularly important, this topic is in this context, we propose a RFID andGPRS technology based access control system designed residential area.In this paper, the future direction of the access control system, access control systemfor the current situation, we propose a long-term users can design and apply a temporaryuser access control system, completing the design of the power system, MF RC500RFreader, RS232conversion circuit, electronic locks and other hardware design, andmicrocontroller initialization routine communications, LCD and other lower-levelsoftware developers and PC management software interface development work, thesystem is controlled by MCU AT89S52microcontroller as the MF RC500modulereceives data, through identification, access control systems to achieve the managementof users and communicate with the host computer access control management softwarethrough MAX232, the data is stored to the PC, the effective implementation of themanagement functions for user data management software design, using the MicrosoftVisual Studio as a development platform, C#as the development language, making themanagement software interface design landscaping, easy to operate, and finally, the papercarried out a trial run of the system, the results meet the design requirements, the systemis operating normally.
