The Research On Communication Mechanism Between Official Opinion Field And Grassroot Opinion Field By Of Traditional Media During Emergency

At present, China is experiencing unprecedented pain of social change, which hasbeen verified by frequent emergencies in recent years. Through these frequentemergencies, it can be observed that the arrival of medium society has deep influenceon social ecology especially public opinion ecology in China, which can be reflectedfrom radical game between official opinion field and grassroot opinion field abouteach great emergency. The thesis conducts field research and in-depth interview about“Shi fang Event” with large samples, and adopts SPSS statistical software for dataanalysis, which indicates that high division and collision are outstandingrepresentations of communication situation between two public opinion fields.Traditional media ought to develop positive public opinion guidance function,while due to constraints of current regulation in China, most of them follow reportingstyle of holding back unpleasant information during entire report process ofemergencies, which awakens collective memory of grassroot opinion field about“intermarriage between government and traditional media”, leads to vacuum and shortcircuit of information transmission, increases communication cost between officialopinion field and grassroot opinion field. Besides, excessive application of reportingframework “social conflict and resentment” also clears up communication possibilitybetween two public opinion fields. Therefore, it can be said that dislocation andanomie of traditional media during emergency report can be crux of unbalancedcommunication between two public opinion fields.From the perspective of textualism, it’s believed that the friction and breakageamong official opinion field, grassroot opinion field and traditional media can becaused by lack of balanced and joint sensus communis. Traditional media adhering toauthority and “social education function” can attempt to build citizen sensuscommunis from dimension of logic, morality and aesthetics, thus adjusting andbridging communication gap between two public opinion fields during emergencies as well as weakening intensity and frequency of emergencies.
