Smart home system is a hot research topic that using the technology of Internet of Things,embedded, network and so on that in order to create comfortable easeful and intellectualizedmodern life. This paper based on the fact of smart home system as a starting point, comparingthe research schedule at home and abroad,and research bottleneck in smart home system,now the paper has three subsystems, the front end based on Zigbee that used to build anetwork of sensors. Besides, intermediate layer with the technology of embedded whichcalled ARM-Linux that achieve family-house control and management intelligently, with thetechnology of RFID and camera and video collection V4L(video for linux) to build accesscontrol system. Moreover, on the far end, the paper achieves smart home system for remoteaccess and control by Android, Internet and GPRS.The front end based on the technology of Zigbee, and supported by protocol of Z-stack,combining with many-to-one relationships between nodes and Coordinator,Each nodeequipped the smog sensor, Infrared transducer that examines directly the body, temperaturesensor, electromagnetism sensor and sensitive optical sensor to build the Internet of Things.The part of access control through technology of RFID and database authentication that inorder to check availability for user authentication, moreover,it can be added video call thatenhance security and user-friendly in the part of access control. in addition, the system sendsthe sensor data through the Coordinator to collect and send it to ARM controller from theserial port, besides, the part of access control uses WiFi to send the data to the Master. On thecontroller side, the data is mainly analytical processing, classifying and then show, what ismore, putting the relevant data stored into lightweight database which is called embeddedSqlite. In the course of case study, the key point is sensor network and the data of The part ofaccess control, the Master is combinated with users’ needs and the flow of a application.Judging from some cases, such as, either low or high depending on the temperature, differentconcentration of smoke, different sensitive optical and the interruptions infrared sensor. Whensomething happens which has some exceptions that triggering the module of fire, thief andGPRS, Meanwhile, the remote can receive the alarm by the network of GSM or the point ofPC_WEB and Android can response to alarm by WiFi, the users from remote can accesssmart home system, see data in every sensor node, control of household electric appliances,see gated conditions by message, browsers and client in real time. Finally, in onlinedebugging progress, the system can be verified the accuracy of the data transmission by Zigbee, the relationship between their distance, the stability of WiFi networks, the accuracy ofthe data On the controller side and see data in real time from the remote.This paper is combinated with theory and practice, parsing realization of the everymodules in detail in the smart home system that in order to provide fresh ideas and referencein building smart home system.
