Our country is short of water seriously. For a long time, most of the drip irrigation systems are controlled by artificial experiences, because there is no real-time data collection and analysis. Drip irrigation control system based on computer, due to reasons such as wiring costs,has not been widely used. Using the ZigBee wireless communication technology in the irrigation for agriculture has many advantages, such as:easy to networking, low power consumption and low cost etc. So it can effectively improve the efficiency of irrigation.In this paper, I designed a landscape water-saving irrigation control system based on ZigBee and wireless sensor network, this system can effectively control irrigation according to the measured field information. The main contents of this research include:(1) Analyse ZigBee wireless sensor network technology and design the overall system framework and the structure of each node.(2) Complete the selection of wireless communication chip and sensors. Design the system hardware circuit and the software.(3) Test the system, Include the communication effect and the transmission distance. Complete the energy consumption test.In this paper, the working principle of the system is collecting in field soil moisture, soil temperature and relevant data information through the wireless MCU and then send the informations to the main console.The main console computes the corresponding node irrigation amount task. Systems in each node are made of ZigBee front-end CC2430chip, memory and microcontroller to realize the detection, and then displayed through the LCD.
